Securing a Trademark protects your brand identity, builds trust with customers, and helps prevent others from using your name or logo.
Trademark basics
A trademark is a word, phrase, sybmbol or design or a combination of the aforementioned and can be registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office(USPTO).
Do I need a U.S-licensed attorney?
No, unless you are a foreign-domiciled trademark applicant, registrant, or party to Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, you do not need one.
What's the fee?
The base fee is $350 for each class of goods or services in a Section 1 or Section 44 application. There are additional fees depending on application information.

Searching for trademarks
Once a product or service has a registered trademark, the owner has exclusive rights. It helps in preventing unauthorized use of the services and products that are identical to the registered products and trademark registrations last 10 years. You can check if a product or service is a registered trademark in the Trademark search system.
